Richards Farm
- Privacy — With consideration for the community’s tranquility and privacy, we designed the neighborhood streets to discourage cut-through traffic
- Connectivity — We also increased pedestrian connectivity which provides access to the Apex Recreation Center, a hub of activity for the neighborhood and greater community
- History — The use of entry monuments, signage and fencing evoke the historic character of the site
Consilium Design’s mission for this project was to keep the community feel and design rooted in the history and heritage of the site itself. Once a farm and ranch of two long-standing families in Arvada, it is now combined to create a 126-home community while embracing the rich history of the site.
With a mix of single-family and patio homes, the architecture of the community takes on the feel of nearby historical farms, accented with green roofs and stone walls adorning the entries.
Richard’s Farm is a 32-acre community located in Arvada, Colorado.
